1. Introduction Personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) will only be processed by us as necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly online presence, including its content and the services offered therein.

In accordance with Article 4, number 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), “processing” means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.

This privacy policy informs you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, insofar as we either alone or jointly with others decide on the purposes and means of processing. Furthermore, we inform you below about the external components we use for optimization purposes and to increase the quality of use, insofar as third parties process data under their own responsibility.

III. Rights of Users and Data Subjects

Users and data subjects have the right:

  1. To confirmation of whether data concerning them is being processed, to information about the processed data, to further information about the data processing, and to copies of the data (cf. also Art. 15 GDPR);
  2. To the correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (cf. also Art. 16 GDPR);
  3. To the immediate deletion of data concerning them (cf. also Art. 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, if further processing is necessary pursuant to Art. 17 para. 3 GDPR, to the restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR;
  4. To receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to transmit this data to other providers/controllers (cf. also Art. 20 GDPR);
  5. To lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they believe that the data concerning them is being processed by the provider in violation of data protection regulations (cf. also Art. 77 GDPR).


Additionally, the provider is obligated to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed by the provider of any correction, deletion, or restriction of processing that occurs due to Articles 16, 17 para. 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, the user has a right to information about these recipients.

Users and data subjects also have the right to object to the future processing of data concerning them, provided that the data is processed by the provider according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permissible.

IV. Information about Data Processing

The data processed when using our online presence will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage ceases to apply, the deletion of the data does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations, and no other information is provided about individual processing procedures.

1. Cookie Manager To obtain consent for the use of technically non-essential cookies on the website, the provider uses a cookie manager. 3. Contact Requests / Contact Options If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your request. 4. YouTube We maintain an online presence on YouTube to present our company and services and to communicate with customers/interest parties. YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

We point out that it is possible that user data is processed outside the European Union, especially in the USA. This may result in increased risks for users insofar as, for example, subsequent access to the user data could be more difficult. We also do not have access to this user data. The access possibility lies exclusively with YouTube.

5. General Linking to Profiles on Third-Party Providers The provider uses links to the following social networks on the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The provider’s legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of use of the website. The embedding of the plugins is done via a linked graphic. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic will the user be forwarded to the service of the respective social network.

After the user is forwarded, information about the user is collected by the respective network. This initially includes data such as IP address, date, time, and page visited. If the user is logged into their user account of the respective network during this time, the network operator may assign the information collected about the specific visit of the user to the user’s personal account. If the user interacts via a “share” button of the respective network, this information may be stored in the user’s personal account and possibly published. If the user wants to prevent the collected information from being directly assigned to their user account, they must log out before clicking the graphic. There is also the option of configuring the respective user account accordingly.

6. Google Analytics We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google.”

Google Analytics is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our website.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. Through this function, Google truncates the IP address within the EU or EEA.

The data collected is used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website and the usage activities there. This data may also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the internet.

Google states that it will not merge your IP address with other data. In addition, Google provides further data protection information at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/partners, including information on how to prevent the use of your data.

Moreover, Google offers a deactivation add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en, along with further information on this add-on. This add-on can be installed with the usual internet browsers and provides you with more control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on informs the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) that no information about the website visit should be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent the transmission of information to us or to other web analytics services. 7. Google reCAPTCHA We use Google reCAPTCHA on our website to check and avoid interactions on our website by automated accesses, e.g., by so-called bots. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google.”

Through this service, Google can determine from which website a request is sent and from which IP address you use the so-called reCAPTCHA input box. In addition to your IP address, Google may collect other information necessary for the offer and guarantee of this service.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the security of our website and in the defense against unwanted, automated accesses in the form of spam or similar.

8. YouTube We use YouTube on our website. This is a video portal provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “YouTube.”

We use YouTube in connection with the “extended data protection mode” function to show you videos. According to YouTube, the “extended data protection mode” means that the data specified below will only be transmitted to the YouTube server when you actually start a video.

Without this “extended data protection,” a connection to the YouTube server in the USA is established as soon as you visit a website on which a YouTube video is embedded.

This connection is necessary to display the respective video on our website via your internet browser. During this process, YouTube at least records and processes your IP address, the date and time, and the website you visited. Moreover, a connection to the Google “DoubleClick” advertising network is established.

If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube assigns the connection information to your YouTube account. If you want to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or adjust the corresponding settings in your YouTube account.

For the purpose of functionality and analysis of usage behavior, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your device via your internet browser.
