On unload, the melted end has to be pulled into a slim, clean tip. A thick or stringy tip blocks the next load. The U1 uses one fixed choreography for all materials; mUlt1ACE makes the pull moves configurable per material. Everything else stays stock, the U1 forms the tip by pulling alone, no cutter.
Where to set it
In the Web UI under Config → Tip forming (per material) (validated, can
never stall Klipper; the opens a visual builder), or as
[ace_tipform] in ace.cfg. Applies after a Klipper restart.

Parameters
One table is one line of comma-separated tokens, applied in order:
| Token | Meaning |
|---|---|
<mm>@<speed> | Extruder move. + push, − retract. Speed in mm/min. |
pause:<ms> | Wait. |
temp:<C> | Set nozzle target, no wait (M104). |
waittemp:<C> | Set target and wait (100–350 °C). Moves below 175 °C are rejected. |
fan:<0-255> | Part fan, inline only (background swap skips it). |
unloadtemp:<C> | Unload temp for this material (175–350 °C), no move. The whole unload runs at this temp instead of the load temp (default 250). |
Rules: at least one move, net sum negative (the tip has to leave the melt zone). Single pull ≤ 200 mm, speed ≤ 6000.
Lookup: <vendor>_<material> →
<material> → soft (flexible) → default
→ stock. Without a matching table, everything stays stock.
